A great lesson to learn is be yourself and care not how people perceive you*. Of course with every statement and lesson there is always an asterisk. There are times when you must change your appearance for example an interview, a formal event or work.
Appearance is very important in many situations and though you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, Most People Do. Am I saying conform, NO, but I am saying in life sometimes you have to choose your battle's and this should be a no brainer for people who want to be successful. If you want to be successful you have to Be Successful and Be Yourself at the same time by finding balance in your life. Is your appearance that important, Yes! Don't get me wrong, there are rare occasion's where people have become successful in there pajamas but I am sure that when it was time to present their ideas they threw on a suit.
